An Overview of the BMW R 1200 GS

The R 1200 GS features a new updated boxer engine which gives you more torque at lower revs, improved responses and better acceleration across the rev range. The two-cylinder DOHC (Double overhead camshaft) engine delivers 120 Nm at 6000 rpm, and output has been increased to 110 hp at 7750 rpm.

Together with new paint finishes, a wide range of optional extras such as the unique Enduro ESA and ASC and an extensive selection of motorcycle equipment choices, there is virtually no situation in which the R 1200 GS doesn't fit perfectly.

The F 800 GS is an Enduro bike like no other BMW has made before; an 800cc machine with a full 85hp and torque of 83 Nm; all this while having a fully fuelled, road-ready weight of only 207 kg. There is also an extensive range of special accessories available for the F 800 GS, so that you can make your BMW even more individual.

The perfectly balanced suspension is extremely sturdy, yet sensitive enough to absorb every last bump. So on or off-road, on tarmac, gravel or dirt, on the F 800 GS you're always in control of the situation.
