The new BMW K 1300 R.
A show of strength. A statement of intent. A touch of class. Meet a bike that’s
all this and more: the new BMW K 1300 R. It’s impossible to imagine a more
striking or more exciting naked bike. Designed without compromise to impress –
and to perform. An output of 173 hp (127 kW) and 140 Nm of torque ensure it can
handle anything the street can throw at it. Looks aren’t always deceptive.
The K 1300 R. Imposing design meets unique technology. Technology such as the
famous BMW Motorrad Duolever for optimum handling, and optional BMW Motorrad ABS
and TPC Tyre Pressure Control. The K 1300 R is also the only naked bike
available with gear shift assist, allowing riders to change up without
declutching or taking their hand off the throttle.
The K 1300 R is also available with ESA II Electronic Suspension Adjustment as
an option, allowing you to modify the suspension set-up depending on the load
you are carrying. ESA II controls a wider range of parameters than the
predecessor system, automatically setting the best possible combination of
suspension height, spring rate and damping settings.
Riders can also put an individual stamp on their K 1300 R with a range of
exciting accessories. In particular, the sporty High Performance Parts -
including everything from HP Carbon engine spoiler and milled HP foot pegs to HP
forged wheels and an Akrapovic sport silencer - are sure to get maximum respect,
wherever you go.
